Entry Rules & Regulations


Applicants must thoroughly read the mandated

  1. Application Guidelines
    1. Please thoroughly go through all information mentioned below prior to submitting your application. Registration confirmation received will be subject to applicable confirmation criteria and the entry rules given herein.
    2. An applicant can apply for only one of the six on-ground, non-elite race categories – Marathon, Half Marathon, Open 10K, Dream Run, Senior Citizens’ Run and Champions with Disability; multiple applications will entail all entries not being confirmed. Further, an applicant must apply for the event using a single email address.
    3. An applicant will be confirmed, subject to fulfilling conditions mentioned herein and confirmation qualification criteria (where applicable), only for the race category he/she has applied for.
    4. Applicants can register only via online using this registration link paying applicable entry fees based on race category opted for. No individual/group has been authorized to collect entries on behalf of the event promoter, Procam International Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL).
    5. Group entries:
      1. Group entries shall be accepted ONLY for Dream Run, Senior Citizens’ Run and Champions With Disability categories. There shall be a minimum of 20 individual entries from the said participative categories to comprise a group. 
      2. All members of the group must fulfill the minimum age eligibility to apply.
      3. Please note that the application fees applicable for groups participating in Dream Run race category (on-ground) is INR 999 per entry. In addition to the application fees, Groups are required to contribute to one TMM Green bib/ tree (INR 635) for every 5 entries submitted under the group. Not applicable for individual entries in Dream run. For more details on the TMM Green bib, please click here.

    6. Before sending in your/your ward’s application, please check if you:
      1. Have filled in details against all mandatory fields prefixed with ‘*’ in the application form;
      2. Have paid the requisite entry fees;
      3. Have agreed to the ‘waiver’, ‘consent’ and ‘entry rules and guidelines’ in the application form;
      4. Have met the minimum age eligibility criteria of the event. Where any discrepancy is found in any of the above-mentioned mandatory requirements, your application will not be confirmed. 
    7. Once you successfully submit your online application, details in your online profile cannot be changed/edited by you. For any corrections, please email at tatamumbaimarathon@procam.in 
    8. On entry confirmation, Marathon, Half Marathon and Open 10K runners will be further classified into age categories for awards and accolades. For more information, click here.
    9. The start waves for Marathon, Half Marathon and Open 10K are indicative and may undergo a change, which will be communicated on the event website post closure of all registrations.

Note: Participants of the Half Marathon race category will be able to view the application confirmation post 10 working days of registration closure.

k. Charity Running Places: Unregistered applicants or individuals who wish to contribute to a NGO/cause of their choice can approach the participating NGOs (registered with the Philanthropy Partner, United Way Mumbai) for availing Charity Running Places, which are available by making a donation. Charity Running Places shall be availed from 13th August 2024 till 13th December 2024 or until charity running places are available. 

  1. Relevant confirmation criteria will be applicable for the timed race categories
  2. Such applicants will also need to submit all the necessary mandatory documents as specified in the application process.

l. Applying through the online ballot for the Open 10K race does not guarantee a spot; participation is confirmed only if selected in a random draw and the application fee is paid on time, subject to event rules and guidelines.

m. Upgrade or downgrade of race category is only applicable for Half Marathon to Marathon or Marathon to Half Marathon race categories respectively. Requests for upgrade from Half marathon to Marathon or vice versa will be accepted till 29th November 2024. New registration to be made within 48 hours on receiving the confirmation email from our end.

 

2. Mirchi Get Active Expo & Running Number Bib Collection 

  1. Running number bibs must be collected by all participants from the Mirchi Get Active Expo  from Thursday, 16th January 2025  to Saturday, 18th January 2025.
    1. Participants will be given options to choose their bib pick-up time slot; overseas and outstation participants will get a slot preference for Saturday 18th January 2025. Slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  2. It is mandatory for all individual participants of the Marathon, Half Marathon and Open 10K race categories to collect their running numbers personally from the bib collection area within the Mirchi Get Active Expo. Confirmed participants must carry along following documents in order to collect his/her number bib:
    1. Application confirmation.
    2. Govt. approved photo ID proof.
  3. In case of unavoidable circumstances, a runner confirmed in any of the above 3 mentioned race categories can send his/her representative to collect running number bib on his/her behalf. Please note, a representative will not be allowed to collect running number bib on behalf of more than ONE participant. The representative must carry along following documents for number bib collection:
    1. Application confirmation.
    2. Govt. approved photo ID proof of the runner.
    3. Govt. approved photo ID proof of the representative.
  4. Group collection for Dream Run, Senior Citizens’ Run and Champions With Disability participants: A group can send their representative/s to collect the running number bibs on behalf of their team members. Running number bibs of the entire group participating in Dream Run, Senior Citizens’ run and/or Champions With Disability category/ies will be handed over at one go. Groups need to select bib pick-up slots online. The representative/s need to carry the following documents for collection of number bibs:
    1. Printed copy of group confirmation email sent across to the group’s point person
    2. Printed copy of signed letter on the NGO/company letterhead authorizing the representative/s to collect number bibs on behalf of the group. 
    3. Govt. approved photo ID proof of the representative.
  5. No running number will be posted to individual mailing addresses for whatsoever reasons. Further, no number bibs will be handed over to any participant post the declared closing hours of the Expo – by 5pm on Saturday, 18th January 2025.

 

3. Entry Rejection and Refund Policy

  1. Once an entry is received, no requests for cancellation or refund of application fees will be entertained under any circumstances.
  2. Where your application is rejected for reasons whatsoever, the entry fee component paid will be refunded on or before 28th February 2025. An amount of ₹ 200 will be deducted as processing charges. 
  3. Application fees shall not be refunded by virtue of non-participation, including failure by a confirmed participant to collect his/her bib from the Mirchi Get Active Expo or not allowed to run on the race day due to high temperature or being unwell.
  4. Any refund discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the event registration team immediately. Refund queries will not be entertained post 28th February 2025.
  5. For the purpose of Event registration, if a registrant uses a corporate/group code of which he/she is not the authorized and bonafide recipient, PIPL reserves the right to deny their entry/application. In such cases, the registrant will not receive a Bib and shall not be able to participate in the Event on the Race day.

 

4. Entry Deferment Policy 

  1. Only in the case of the TMM 2025 event being canceled for reasons whatsoever, would your entry at the TMM 2025 be carried forward, in the same race category, to the subsequently conducted edition of the Tata Mumbai Marathon. No additional entry fees will be charged to such participants. Qualification criteria set for the next edition shall however apply.
  2. In the case where participation in specific race categories needs to be reduced in view of any Government issued protocols, the rule of last-in-first-out will be applied. Such participants who do not get final confirmations can defer their entry in the same race category to the next conducted edition of Tata Mumbai Marathon. No additional entry fees will be charged to such participants. Qualification criteria set for the next edition shall however apply.

 

5. Other Important Points

  1. Notwithstanding anything mentioned herein, donations, TMM Merchandise payment (if any), made at the time of applying for the event, will not be refunded under any circumstance of whatsoever nature. However, contribution towards TMM Green Bib will only be refunded or not refunded in cases mentioned below:
    1. If an individual applicant has applied in on-ground race category and the application is rejected for any reason. In such cases, applicants will be asked whether they would want to remain “Evergreener” by not opting for a refund towards the TMM Green bib contribution or would want a refund towards the TMM Green bib contribution, in the rejection mail. If the applicant requests for a refund for TMM Green bib contribution or if there is no response from the applicant for 3 days, we will process the full refund made towards the TMM Green bib contribution i.e. INR 635 per tree.
    2. If an applicant has surrendered the bib, no refund will be made towards the TMM Green Bib contribution.
    3. In case an individual has applied in both on-ground and virtual race in a single transaction and the on-ground race category has been rejected, no refund will be made towards the TMM Green Bib contribution.
    4. In case an individual has applied only in a virtual race category, no refund will be made towards the TMM Green Bib Contribution.
  2. The right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to the applicant under this entry form are at the sole discretion of PIPL, and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances. The applicant alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising out of such confirmation of participation. 
  3. Confirmed runner’s identity and proof of residence may be verified by a verification agency hired for validating the details provided by you in the form. Where any information and/or any document provided by an applicant/runner at any point in time is found to be incorrect, participation of the said runner shall be withheld/disqualified and there will be no refund of application fees paid by the runner. All benefits accruing to the said runner as a participant of Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025 shall stand forfeited.
  4. Race day images of all participants will be screened visually after the race and if any of the participants is found not wearing the running number bib allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that bib will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event in 2026. Further, Procam International reserves the right to take necessary legal action against the registered participant and the person who has used the running number bib on race day, for impersonation.
  5. Any race day audio, video, or visual recordings made by a participant at the Mirchi Get Active Expo or on Race day are to be used only for personal purposes; these cannot be used for any commercial purpose. The official photographer of Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025 is One Glint and individual photographs of runners will be available for sale and download on the event website 48 hours post closing hours of race day.

 

6. Event Promoter reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of the Tata Mumbai Marathon at any point in time without any notice.
