TMM 2026: Disciplinary Action – Violation of Bib Usage Regulations

Commitment to Fair Competition

The integrity of the event is of paramount importance to us. As per the official Race Regulations, all participants are required to wear only the running number bib that has been officially assigned to them. Bib transfers, substitutions, or impersonation in any form are strictly prohibited.

Post-race screening of race-day images and timing data has identified instances of non-compliance with these regulations. After due review, the following participants have been found in violation of the Bib Usage Policy.

Nature of Violations

The violations identified fall under the following categories:

• Impersonation: An individual other than the registered participant was found running using the registered participant’s assigned bib number.
• Bib Transfer for Timing Purposes: A participant carried or used another individual’s assigned bib for timing or race result recording purposes.

Such actions compromise race safety protocols, medical tracking systems, age-category results, qualification standards, and the overall fairness of competition.

Disciplinary Actions Imposed

In accordance with the Race Regulations and after internal review, the following actions have been taken:

• Disqualified from the current edition and the subsequent edition of the event (TMM 2027).
• Disqualified from the current edition and barred from participation in all Procam International races for a period of three (3) years, effective 1st February 2026.

Procam International also reserves the right to initiate further action, including legal proceedings, where impersonation or fraudulent representation is established.

Our Position

We reiterate that bib swapping, impersonation, or any attempt to manipulate timing results is a serious violation of race regulations. These measures are necessary to:

• Protect participant safety
• Ensure fairness in competition
• Maintain qualification integrity
• Uphold the credibility of the event
