PROCAM: Runner's Etiquette

At the TMM 2026, every runner is part of a larger community. Following these simple guidelines ensures safety, fairness, and respect for each other, the city, and the planet.

Pre-Race Conduct

  • Arrive on Time: Allow sufficient time for warm-up and entry to your designated corral.
  • Respect Corrals: Enter and remain in your assigned pace zone; do not advance to faster corrals.
  • Race Bibs: Wear your bib clearly on the front of your shirt. Bib exchange, duplication, or misuse is strictly prohibited.
  • Follow Instructions: Comply with announcements and directions from race officials, marshals, and volunteers at all times.

On-Course Conduct

  • Maintain Flow: Keep to the left  if running slower; overtake from the right.
  • Stopping or Walking: Signal by raising your hand and move to the side before slowing down or stopping.
  • Hydration & Aid Stations: Collect water or aid without obstructing others. Dispose of cups, bottles, and waste in designated bins only.
  • Personal Awareness: Keep headphones low or use one earbud to remain alert to instructions and fellow runners.
  • Toilet Use: Use only designated restrooms. Queue respectfully.
  • Finish Line: Continue moving past the finish area to avoid congestion.

Respect & Sportsmanship

  • Respect Others: Maintain courtesy toward fellow runners, volunteers, officials, and spectators. Unsportsmanlike behavior, abusive language, or aggressive conduct will not be tolerated.
  • Encourage & Appreciate: Cheer fellow runners, and acknowledge the contribution of volunteers and medical teams.
  • Respect the Host City: Treat local communities, cultural sites, and the environment with care and consideration.

Health & Safety

  • Listen to Your Body: If you feel unwell, seek medical assistance immediately.
  • Medical Support: Cooperate fully with medics, marshals, and emergency personnel.
  • Preparation: Warm up adequately and remain hydrated throughout the race.

Sustainability Commitment

  • Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Avoid single-use plastics and dispose of waste responsibly.
  • Hydration: Carry a personal reusable bottle/hydration pack where possible and use refill stations.
  • Green Transport: Travel sustainably,  use public transport, carpool, cycle, or walk.
  • Support Local: Choose local and eco-friendly products before and after the race.
  • Be a Green Champion: Lead by example and encourage others to embrace sustainable practices.

Remember: Running is not just about speed — it’s about respect, responsibility, and community. Together, let’s make the TMM 2026 a celebration of sport, sustainability, and solidarity.
