ENTRY RULES & REGULATIONS FOR ON-GROUND RACE CATEGORIES

Please read these guidelines carefully before you apply.

1. Application Guidelines
   1. Read all information below before submitting the online application. Registration confirmation is subject to the applicable confirmation criteria and the entry rules given herein. 
   2. You may apply for only one of the five on-ground, non-elite race categories:
      1. Marathon,
      2. Half Marathon,
      3. Open 10K,
      4. Dream Run,
      5. Senior Citizens’ Run
      6. Champions with Disability.
         If you submit multiple applications, none of your entries will be confirmed. Further, an applicant must apply for the event using a single email address.
   3. An applicant will be confirmed, subject to fulfilling conditions mentioned herein and confirmation criteria (where applicable), only for the race category he/she has applied for. 
       
   4. Applications must be submitted online using the registration link by paying applicable entry fees based on the race category opted for. No individual or group is authorized to collect entries on behalf of Procam International Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL). 
   5. Group entries:
      1. Each group must consist of a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 100 participants.
      2. Entries with fewer than 20 or more than 100 participants from a single group/entity/association will not be accepted.
      3. The Group SPOC must submit a covering letter along with the PAN card of the company/group. Multiple group registrations under the same PAN card will not be accepted.

         Important: Entries will close as soon as the event reaches capacity. Participants are strongly encouraged to register early because slots are limited.
      6.  All group members must meet the minimum age requirement for their race category.
   6. Before you submit your/your ward’s application, please confirm that you:
      1. have completed all mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*) in the application form;
      2. have paid the applicable entry fee;
      3. have agreed to the waiver, consent, Terms of Use/Service, Privacy Policy, Race regulations, and entry rules in the application form;
      4. meet the minimum age eligibility criteria for the event;
      5. have uploaded the latest timing certificate, where required for start wave confirmation; and have uploaded a clear, recent photograph and a government-approved ID showing your full name, date of birth, and gender. Accepted IDs include Aadhaar, PAN, passport, and driving license.
         Note:
         1. Self-Identity Verification: To ensure that accurate participant information is captured while maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and security, a Self-Identity Verification process has been introduced via Aadhaar card.
         2. Indian Nationals: You can verify key details such as your full name, date of birth, gender, and nationality through your Aadhaar. Verification is completed via the official Aadhaar app. To proceed:
            1. Download and install the official Aadhaar app on your mobile device.
            2. Log in to your Aadhaar profile within the app.
            3. During the verification process, scan the QR code displayed on the registration screen using the Aadhaar app.
            4. Complete the verification successfully to validate your details.
               Alternatively, you can upload your PAN/passport/Driving license copy for ID verification.
               1. Overseas Participants: You are required to upload a copy of your passport to verify your identity and personal details. This verification process helps ensure the authenticity of participant information while safeguarding personal data. 
               2. Your middle name is collected solely for ID verification purposes. It will not appear on your race bib, confirmation emails, or any other official event materials, nor will it be considered in event classifications or recognitions.
               3. If there is any discrepancy in the mandatory requirements listed above, your application will not be confirmed.
   7. Once you submit your online application successfully, you cannot edit your online profile yourself. For corrections, please email us at tatamumbaimarathon@procam.in
   8. After confirmation, Marathon, Half Marathon, and Open 10K participants will be classified into age categories for awards and recognition. For more information,  
   9. Start waves for the Marathon, Half Marathon, and Open 10K are indicative and may change. Any updates will be shared on the event website after registrations close. 
   10. Application status: You can view your application status on the event website within 10 working days of successful registration. If you cannot access it online, please contact our event helpline number +91 8527276694 or email us at tatamumbaimarathon@procam.in  
       Note: Participants of the Half Marathon race category will be able to view the application confirmation post 10 working days of registration closure. 
   11. Fundraising Running Places: Philanthropy is a key pillar of the Tata Mumbai Marathon. A limited number of bibs in Half Marathon categories are reserved through United Way Mumbai, the official philanthropy partner of the event. Individuals who wish to participate in these categories and support a cause close to their heart are encouraged to do so by fundraising through United Way Mumbai official platform. 100% of the funds raised online on the UWM platform are disbursed to the NGO chosen (duly verified by UWM) by the individual fundraiser.

You can qualify for a Half Marathon bib in one of the following ways:

• Become a Change Runner 
  Raise a minimum of ₹2 lakh through at least 5 donors by 22nd December 2026 to qualify for a bib across any race category. Change Runners also receive several exclusive incentives.
• Be an Early Bird Fundraiser 
  Be among the first 200 fundraisers to raise ₹10,000 or more from at least 5 donors. You will be eligible to register for a Half Marathon bib (subject to availability and eligibility). Registration must be completed using a unique code provided upon qualification.
• Be Among the Top Fundraisers 
    The top 500 fundraisers (including Change Runners) who raise ₹10,000 or more from at least 5 donors by 22nd December 2026 will be eligible to register for a bib in their preferred race category. Higher fundraisers get preference in bib allocation.

Note:

• Running places shall be subject to availability of slots in the desired race category and fulfilment of event’s qualification criteria as applicable (including timing criteria for half marathon category).

While fulfilling timing criterion is mandatory for the half marathon, there is relaxed cut-off timing for individuals applying for the half marathon by fundraising.

Timing cut-offs for individual fundraising and applying for the half marathon:

* The running event must have been conducted within the period of 18 months preceding race day (17^th January, 2027), i.e. on or after 17^th July 2025. Other conditions for half marathon qualification criteria shall remain the same for a timing certificate to be accepted.

• Fundraisers qualifying as Change Runners are not required to pay race fees.
• On qualifying, and where slot in selected race category is available, United Way Mumbai will send a unique code to the fundraiser to register on the event website and pay the requisite race fee.
• Where the individual does not complete the online registration process within stipulated timeline, such individual will not receive a number bib even if they qualify as fundraisers.

1. Upgrade or downgrade of race category is only applicable for Half Marathon to Marathon or Marathon to Half Marathon race categories respectively. Requests for upgrade/downgrade from Half marathon to Marathon and vice versa will be accepted till 1st November 2026. 2. Guaranteed Running Places – SportyTrip Concierge Packages: The SportyTrip Concierge Package is a hospitality and travel offering and does not include race registration. After purchasing the package, participants will receive a unique registration code that allows them to apply for an eligible race category.
3. To be considered for race entry, participants must complete the official event registration process, pay the applicable race registration fee, and satisfy all confirmation and eligibility requirements, including the submission of a valid timing certificate where applicable.
4. Buying a SportyTrip Concierge Package, receiving a registration code, or completing registration does not guarantee race entry. Participation in the event will be confirmed only after all requirements are verified and in accordance with the event's rules, guidelines, and confirmation criteria are met.

n. Baggage facility

• Participants who opt for the baggage facility (available only to Marathon, Half Marathon and Open 10K participants) while registration/post registration must collect the official baggage tag issued by Procam International Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL) at the Expo, attach it to their bag on the race day, and submit the corresponding claim stub at the time on baggage collection. Bags without a valid official tag will not be accepted on race day. 
• A refundable security deposit of INR 500 per baggage tag will be charged at the time of registration and refunded within 15 working days after race day. Do not deposit valuables, cash, jewellery, electronic devices, passports, fragile items, perishable items, hazardous items, or prohibited items. PIPL is not liable for loss, theft, damage, misplacement, or delay in the baggage handling or return. For more information, click here. 
• Running Number Bib Collection
• In order to collect running bibs from the PLAYSCAPE – Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) 2027 Expo from Thursday, 14th January to Saturday, 16th January 2027, this edition's participants will need to choose their bib collection time slots. Slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants will be given options to choose their bib pick-up time slot; overseas and outstation participants will get a slot preference for Saturday, 16th January 2026. Slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  
  
  1. Personal bib collection: Marathon, Half Marathon and Open 10K

Participants in the Marathon, Half Marathon, Open 10K must collect their bibs in person at the Bib Collection Centre within the PLAYSCAPE – Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) 2027 Expo. Confirmed participants must carry the following documents to collect their bib:

1. Application confirmation.
2. Government-approved photo ID. 
    
3. If you are confirmed in any race category and cannot collect your bib yourself because of unavoidable circumstances, you may send one representative. A representative may collect a bib for only one participant. The representative must carry the following documents:
4. Application confirmation.
5. The participant’s government-approved photo ID. 
    
6. Group bib collection: Dream Run, Senior Citizens’ Run and Champions With Disability participants: 
   A group can send representative(s) to collect bibs for team members in these categories. Bibs for these categories will be handed over together. 
7. A printed copy of the group confirmation email sent to the group point person.
8. A printed copy of the signed authorisation letter on the NGO or company letterhead authorising the representative(s) to collect bibs on behalf of the group.
9. A government-approved photo ID of the representative.

No bib will be posted to any mailing address for any reason. No bib will be issued after the Expo closes at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, 16th January 2027.

1. Entry Rejection and Refund Policy
   1. Entry fees are non-refundable once an entry is confirmed. However, Marathon, and Half Marathon participants may use the bib surrender facility in case of illness, injury, or if the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2027 is rescheduled. Bib surrender will be available from 15th September 2026 at 10:00 a.m. to 30th September 2026 at 7:00 p.m. by submitting the bib surrender request form. A processing fee of INR 200 will be deducted from the registration fee. The remaining amount will be refunded on or before 28 February 2027 of BIB surrender.
   2. If your application is rejected, the entry fee component paid will be refunded on or before 28th February 2027, after deduction of INR 200 as processing charges.
   3. The INR 500 baggage facility charge will be refunded within 15 working days after race day.
   4. Application fees will not be refunded for non-participation, failure to collect the bib from the Expo, late arrival at the venue or start area, failure to start within the prescribed time, or denial of participation on race day for medical, safety, or operational reasons.
   5. Report any refund discrepancy to the event registration team immediately. Refund queries will not be entertained after 31st January 2027.
   6. If a registrant uses a corporate or group code without being the authorised recipient, PIPL may deny the entry or application. In that case, the registrant will not receive a bib and will not be allowed to participate on race day. 
       
2. Entry Deferment Policy
   1. If TMM 2027 is cancelled, your entry will be carried forward in the same race category to the next edition of the Tata Mumbai Marathon. No additional entry fee will be charged. However, additional qualification criteria if set for the next edition shall apply.
   2. If participation in specific race categories must be reduced because of government-issued protocols, the last-in-first-out rule will apply.
   3. Participants who do not receive final confirmation may defer their entry in the same race category to the next edition of the Tata Mumbai Marathon without paying an additional entry fee, additional qualification criteria if any set for the next edition shall apply. 
       
3. Other Important Points
   1. Notwithstanding anything mentioned herein, donations, TMM Merchandise payment (if any), made at the time of applying for the event, will not be refunded under any circumstance of whatsoever nature. However, contribution towards TMM Green Bib will only be refunded or not refunded in cases mentioned below:

If an individual applicant has applied in on-ground race category and the application is rejected for any reason. In such cases, applicants will be asked whether they would want to remain “Evergreener” by not opting for a refund towards the TMM Green bib contribution or would want a refund towards the TMM Green bib contribution, in the rejection mail. If the applicant requests for a refund for TMM Green bib contribution or if there is no response from the applicant for 3 days, we will process the full refund made towards the TMM Green bib contribution i.e. INR 651 per tree.

1. If an applicant has surrendered the bib, no refund will be made towards the TMM Green Bib contribution.
2. In case an individual has applied in both on-ground and virtual race in a single transaction and the on-ground race category has been rejected, no refund will be made towards the TMM Green Bib contribution.
3. In case an individual has applied only in a virtual race category, no refund will be made towards the TMM Green Bib Contribution. 
   
    
4. The right to participate in the event, and any related rights or benefits, are granted at PIPL’s sole discretion and cannot be transferred to another person. Only the applicant alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising from a confirmed entry.
5. A verification agency may verify the identity and content submitted at the time of registration of confirmed participants. You hereby give your consent to share your data with the said third party agency. If any information or document is found to be incorrect at any stage, the participant may be withheld or disqualified, and no application fee will be refunded. Any benefits associated with participation in Tata Mumbai Marathon 2027 will be forfeited.
6. Race day images will be reviewed after the race. If a participant is found wearing a bib that was not assigned to them, the registered participant will be disqualified from the race and from the next edition of the event. Procam International also reserves the right to take legal action for impersonation against both the registered participant and the person who used the bib.
7. Any audio, video, or visual recording made by a participant at the PLAYSCAPE – Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) 2027 Expo or on race day may be used only for personal purposes and not for commercial use. The official photographer for TMM 2027 is One Glint. Individual runner photographs will be available for sale and download on the event website 48 hours after race day. 
    
8. Participants in any race category must not carry out brand marketing or promotion for non-sponsor or non-partner brands at the event. Corporate and group registrations may use placards, banners, caps, and T-shirts to display their company, brand, or NGO name or message. Failure to follow this rule may lead to disqualification from the current and next edition of the race.

6.    Event Promoter reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of the Tata Mumbai Marathon at any point in time without any notice.

ENTRY RULES & REGULATIONS FOR VIRTUAL RUN RACE CATEGORIES

1. Application Guidelines   
   1. Please thoroughly go through all information mentioned below prior to submitting your application. Confirmation of applications received shall be subject to the entry rules mentioned hereunder.
   2. An applicant can apply for only one of the four Virtual race categories –Virtual Marathon (42.195 km), Virtual Half Marathon (21.097 km), Virtual 10K (10 km) and Virtual 5K (5 km); multiple applications will entail all entries not being confirmed. Further, an applicant must apply for the event using a single email address.
   3. An applicant shall be confirmed, subject to fulfilling conditions mentioned herein, only for the race category he/she has applied for.
   4. Applicants can only register via online, using this registration link and paying applicable entry fees basis the race category selected. No individual/group has been authorized to collect entries on behalf of the event promoter, Procam International Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL). 
   5. Group entries:
      1. Group entries shall be accepted for the Virtual Marathon (42.195 km), Virtual Half Marathon (21.097 km), Virtual 10K (10 km) and Virtual 5K (5 km). There has to be a minimum of 20 individual entries to comprise a group. There has to be a minimum of 20 individual entries to comprise a group. All members of the group must fulfil the minimum age eligibility of the race category.

   6. Before submitting in your/your ward’s application (in case the participant is below the age of 18 years), please check if:
      1. all details marked as mandatory fields (prefixed with ‘*’ in the application form) are filled.
      2. the requisite entry fees have been paid;
      3. the ‘waiver’, ‘consent’ and ‘entry rules and guidelines’ have been agreed to in the application form;
      4. the applicant meets the minimum age eligibility criteria of the race category chosen.
      5. new users to verify their Identification.
         Where any discrepancy is found in any of the above-mentioned mandatory requirements, your application will not be considered for confirmation.
   7. Once you successfully submit your online application, details in your online profile cannot be changed/edited by you. For any corrections, please email at tatamumbaimarathon@procam.in 
   8. Application status: Application status can be viewed on the user's individual profile on the event website within 7 working days of registration or on or before 15th January 2027, whichever is earlier.    9. Finishers of all virtual race categories will be able to download e-medal and e-certificate with their timing mentioned, from their TMM web profile (https://tatamumbaimarathon.procam.in) latest by 15th February 2027.  
   10. Participants must choose locations for their virtual run which has adequate mobile/internet connectivity so as to enable the TMM App, powered by TCS, to collect your running data - it is advisable to check the same prior to commencing your race. PIPL nor TCS will not be held responsible for any discrepancy/error in participation data collected from the TMM App or failure to receive participation data from the TMM App, from the participant for any reason. 
   11. Participant(s) may be required to submit further proof of identity/age/activity data, as may be required by PIPL, failing which PIPL may, at its sole discretion, disqualify the said participant. 
2. Entry Rejection and Refund Policy
   1. Once applied, no requests for refund of application fees will be entertained.
   2. Where your application is rejected for reasons whatsoever, the entry fee component paid will be refunded on or before 28th February 2027. An amount of ₹ 50 will be deducted as processing charges. You will be required to provide your bank details on a link provided by the event’s registration team.
   3. Any refund discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the Event registration team immediately. Refund queries will not be entertained post 28th February 2027.
3. Entry Deferment Policy
   In case where the TMM 2027 edition is canceled for reasons whatsoever, your entry for the TMM Virtual shall be carried forward, in the same race category, to the subsequently conducted edition of the Tata Mumbai Marathon. No additional entry fees will be charged to such participants. Further, entry fees already paid will not be refunded to the confirmed virtual participant.
4. Other Important Points
   1. Virtual participants are strictly prohibited from entering the official race course or the event venue on race day, 17th January 2027.
   2. Any virtual participant identified running on the official race course or using the course/ event facility on  17th January 2027 shall be disqualified from the current and subsequent edition of the race.
   3. Notwithstanding anything mentioned before, top-up donations, where made, will not be refunded under any circumstance of whatsoever nature.

   5. PIPL reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of the Tata Mumbai Marathon at any point in time.
