Run In Costume

At the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026, the Run In Costume Contest returns with a thrilling new theme that celebrates the legends who inspire us — Sports Personalities!

Open exclusively to Dream Run participants, this year’s contest invites you to hit the streets dressed as your sporting hero. From cricketing greats and Olympic champions to football stars, WWE icons, and hometown heroes. Whether you choose to be Sachin, Serena, Messi, Mary Kom, The Undertaker, or your local coach who shaped your journey, this is your chance to bring their spirit to life on Race Day.

Go solo or team up with your crew, get creative with jerseys, gear, belts, and props, and step into character. Each individual or group will get a moment on stage to showcase their costume and wow the crowd. Winners will be chosen based on creativity, accuracy, and stage presence — and will walk away with prize money and well-earned applause.

How to Participate

• Register for the Dream Run at the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2026 and start planning your iconic sports-inspired costume
• An RSVP link will be emailed to all registered Dream Run participants for online sign-up
• Limited on-ground registrations will be available at the Run in Costume registration table near the contest stage on Race Day
• On-ground registration requires your name, mobile number, and PAN card details for prize disbursement
• Details on reporting time, judging, and prize distribution will be shared via email with confirmed participants
• All participants must line up at the Dream Run start line and complete the course in costume to be eligible for the contest

CONTEST CATEGORIES

Individual Category

• Judges will select three winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) from among the solo entries.

Group Category

• Judges will award three winning groups (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place).
• Groups must consist of a minimum of 4 participants to qualify.
