Open 10K Confirmation Criteria
Entry to the Open 10K race category will be confirmed based on the ‘confirmation criteria’ explained in detail below:
I] Charity Running Places
A limited number of running places have been allocated to credible NGOs registered with the Event’s Philanthropy Partner, United Way Mumbai. These are meant to help these charities raise funds through people willing to support their causes. Interested applicants are encouraged to visit United Way Mumbai’s website at https://www.unitedwaymumbai.org/tmm-participating-charities.htm and go through the registered NGOs and contact them directly for a running slot. The number of running slots as well as the contact details of the NGO have been provided on each NGOs page. NGOs have the discretion to choose whatever donation amount they wish to set for their limited slots. Charity running places will be available with the participating NGOs for a donation from 16th August 2023 to 13th December 2023, or until charity running places last, whichever is earlier. II] Women’s Criteria
To encourage women participation there are a limited number of running places reserved for women applicants. Registration in this criterion will be on a first come first served basis and no prior timing certificate is required to apply in this criteria.
Note: A prior timing certificate is not mandatory to apply in this race category under any of the above-mentioned criteria, however, if you wish to submit the prior timing certificate for a better line up section, follow the below timing criteria:
- Timings of only marathon (42.195 km), 25 km distance, half marathon (21.097 km), 10 Km and the 5 Km distances conducted at an on-ground event will be considered. Timing certificate of a recognized timed relay race, where an individual covers a distance of minimum 5 km, will be considered to qualify for Open 10K race category of the running event which must have been conducted on or after 1st January 2021.
2. To be eligible for this confirmation under this criterion, your timing certificate needs to show your finish time as specified below:

All applicants and confirmed participants of the TMM 2024 are requested to visit the event website: https://tatamumbaimarathon.procam.in/ for regular updates.
PRIORITY LINE-UP ON THE RACE DAY:
Applicants who had applied for and got confirmed in the Open 10K race category will get allotted line-up sections for race day start (21st January 2024) based on the finish timings mentioned on respective timing certificates submitted at the time of application.

*NOTE: Open 10K line-up sections given above are indicative and may undergo a change, which will be communicated on the website https://tatamumbaimarathon.procam.in post closure of all registrations. On race day timing results and certificates will be generated only for runners who complete the 10 km distance within 1 hr and 30 min from the start time.
Confirmed applicants improving their performance post-submission of applicants can request for a change in the line-up section only till 25th September 2023. Valid timing certificate needs to be emailed along with the request on tatamumbaimarathon@procam.in
