Andre De Grasse | 2026
Andre De Grasse is much more than just one of the fastest runners in the world. He is recognised globally for his electrifying finishes, calm confidence, and ability to rise to the occasion in big moments. Born in Canada to Caribbean parents, his story is nothing short of cinematic.
De Grasse has won 7 Olympic medals (2 Golds, 2 Silvers, and 3 Bronze), making him one of the most decorated sprinters of his era.
Beyond his athletic prowess, he established the Andre De Grasse Family Foundation in 2018 to empower young people through sport and education.
Now, Andre brings his incredible spirit and competitive drive to India as the ambassador for the 21st edition of the Tata Mumbai Marathon. In many ways, his story perfectly reflects what the Tata Mumbai Marathon represents: courage, persistence, community, and the strong belief that the journey to every finish line starts with one brave step out the door.
