Important:

  1. Participation confirmation shall be subject to –
    1. Applicant fulfilling the minimum age eligibility – completed 18 years and above (born as on or before 16.01.2009)
    2. The marathon confirmation criteria

  2. Entry to the Marathon race category is only against a timing certificate. Submitting a latest and fastest timing certificate during Marathon registration secures a better start wave allocation on race day.
  3. Marathon entries will be accepted under group registrations, however to ensure that each bib number is accurately assigned and collected, all participants must collect their own bibs in person from the Expo. This is crucial to ensure that only the officially registered runner takes part on race day, helping prevent any risk of disqualification.  
  4. In order to collect running bibs from the PLAYSCAPE – Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) 2027 Expo (Thursday, 14th January to Saturday, 16th January 2027), this edition participants will need to choose their bib collection time slots. Slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
    1. Confirmed participants residing in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane are requested to choose their bib collection time slots across 14th January and 15th January, allowing outstation and overseas participants to choose available time slots on 16th January to collect their running bibs. 
  5. On race day, there will be a Start Wave based on the timing certificate provided at the time of registration. Confirmed applicants improving their timing performance post submission of application can request for changing the start waves only till 10th November 2026; valid timing certificate needs to be provided for this on email: tatamumbaimarathon@procam.in No provision of changing the start wave at the expo will be entertained.  
  6. Confirmed Marathon men and women participants will receive a race day t-shirt respectively, courtesy event’s Sports Goods Partner, ASICS, at the Bib Collection Center within the PLAYSCAPE – Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) 2027 Expo. We will try our best to accommodate the tee size selected by you. However, if unavailable, the next best available size tee will be offered. We will not be able to entertain any requests for change in sizes/colours - your cooperation is solicited.  Further, no race day tee will be couriered to anyone pre or post the event.
  7. All finishers of the Marathon race category will get the finisher medal post their run on race day (please collect your medal before leaving the venue; medals will not be posted to individual runners). While provisional results will be available by 5 pm on race day, timing certificates of marathon finishers will be available for download from https://www.sportstimingsolutions.in post 21 working days from race day. 
  8. “The "Years participated" on Marathon running bib is exclusively assigned to runners who have successfully completed the "Marathon" race category in at least one edition of the Tata Mumbai Marathon, in addition to the 2027 edition applied for, within the official cut-off time of their respective TMM editions, wearing a valid bib, and have received a net finish time available online or a timing certificate confirming their successful race completion of each of those editions.  Printed on the bib (e.g. 1 & running), the "Years participated" serves to recognize one's long standing association with the event and their commitment to it. The number of years is determined by combining the participant's first name, last name, and the date of birth. If a participant identifies an error in the "Years participated" specified in their application confirmation email, we kindly request them to contact us at tatamumbaimarathon@procam.in , no later than 30th November 2026. The email must include the participant’s bib numbers for all editions of the event where he/she has completed the ‘marathon’ race category over the years. It is important to note that participants must have used the same first name, last name, and date of birth to ensure accurate "Years participated" is identified and allocated.  
  9. No wheelchair/wheeled vehicle is allowed in the Marathon, Half Marathon, Open 10K, Dream Run, and Senior Citizens’ Run race categories on race day.  
  10. Running your first Marathon at Tata Mumbai Marathon ? Let’s make it unforgettable! 
    At TMM 2027, if you're taking on the 42.195 km distance for the very first time, you'll receive a specially designed Debutant Bib — your badge of honour to wear with pride on race day. Simply select ‘Yes’ when asked during the online registration process, and we’ll take care of the rest.  
  11. HOME RUN SQUAD – Your Family, Your Finish Line! If you and 3 or more members of your family are participating in the event on-ground on 17th Jan 2027, fill out the form here with their names and transaction IDs to receive a special Home Run Squad Digital Photo Frame after the race. *Offer valid on first-come first-served basis, only if all participants of the family are confirmed and participate on race day.

  13. Baggage Tags: Marathon participants who wish to avail of the baggage deposit facility on race day must opt for the baggage tag service either during registration or later through their participant profile. Please note that baggage tags are available in limited numbers and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.  
    Participants who have successfully opted for the baggage facility must collect the official baggage tag issued by Procam International Pvt. Ltd. (PIPL) at the Expo. The bag tag must be securely attached to the bag on race day, and the corresponding claim stub must be retained for baggage collection. Bags without a valid official baggage tag will not be accepted at the baggage deposit counters.  
    A refundable security deposit of INR 500 per baggage tag will be charged at the time of opting for the service. The deposit will be refunded within 15 working days after race day. 
    Participants are strongly advised not to carry cash, jewellery, electronic devices, passports, valuables, fragile items, perishable goods, hazardous materials, or any prohibited articles in their baggage. PIPL shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, theft, damage, misplacement, or delay in the handling, storage, or return of baggage.
