A passionate marathoner, open water swimmer and trekker. He completed 50 runs including comrades, multiple ultras, half and full marathons. As a seasoned sports enthusiast, he navigated challenging terrains in Himalaya, Sahyadri, Plateau, hills and also swam in the Ocean. As an advocate of holistic well-being, Gautam harnesses the power of physical endurance to inspire a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle. He is an active lead of a running group of 200 runners in Mumbai. Friends envy his energy level and positivity even in adverse or challenging times, and ability to add people to any mission be it in running, trekking, triathlon and any social cause.

Gautam, a banker turned entrepreneur, runs a sustainability start-up, Oorjan Cleantech which stands at the forefront of promoting solar / green energy. He blends athleticism with a purpose and environmental sustainability. Beyond the realms of sports, Gautam has channeled their passion for environmental conservation into a thriving sustainability start-up. He finds a great correlation between running a marathon and a start-up where both need passion, hard work, patience and resilience.

He is the Founder & CEO of Oorjan Cleantech, and ex-Director of Citibank India. He is an alumni of IIT Mumbai and ISB.
