Hello Everyone, I am Sudeshna, based out of ‘City of Joy’ Kolkata, West Bengal! I am a happy Aquarian. Presently, I am working as Director of Operations in ‘Hamara Grid’ a social enterprise company that promotes rural livelihoods through the platform of distributed renewable energy in the North eastern State of Nagaland. I engage with remote and rural communities, especially rural women and work with them together to generate local livelihood options towards impacting increase in local incomes and village GDP. I am very passionate about my work. As an individual, I love travelling to new and remote places, connecting with people, making new buddies, listening to music.….and yes, I love running too! Running is an emotion for me. Running infuses me with a lot of positive energy and zeal to challenge boundaries and rediscover myself! I run with the Jayanagar Jaguars at Rabindra Sarovar Lake in Kolkata and running together with buddies is indeed very fulfilling. My family and friends encourage me in this journey. I have done several 10 K runs and four HMs, till date. I am extremely excited and honored to be selected as a 10 K pacer in TMM 2023. It is the biggest and grandest running carnival in India. As a pacer in TMM, I want to infuse this pure joy of running into my co-runners and want to make this experience a happy and memorable one for them. I strongly believe in the African proverb that says “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”
