I, Sourav Kapoor & am part of the biggest running group in the north from the City Beautiful, Chandigarh Distance Runners (CDR). I am a multi-sport athlete fuelled by passion and dedication. I am a proud father of 2 daughters with 70 + Half Marathon, five full Marathon & 15 + Ultra Runs under my belt.

I have been a pacers, influencer, ambassador & volunteer for various running events.

I used to play Cricket professionally. But I never ran as a professional. I started my running journey in April 2017 onwards. I first participated in a half marathon organized by Daily World Marathon in Chandigarh on dated 9th of April 2017 & completed it in around 3 hrs 29 minutes vide the Cut off time of 3 hrs 30 minutes. After completing the said event, I saw no one by the time I finished because most of the runners had finished much earlier and left, and I felt terrible. So, after that, I tried to run regularly, especially on weekends, somewhere between 10-15 km. I also started participating in half marathon events, trail challenges, and promotional runs.

I go by the mantra, which became my tagline, ” There’s no ‘ Y ‘ in the running. Believe in the run. “

Professionally I am one of the Co-founders & Director of KreditMetriX Advisors Private Limited, which is into Credit Rating advisory, Corporate loan Syndication, Start-up & MSME Consulting having a presence across the country.
