DHAVAL MEHTA – CHANGE LEGEND 2020

Raised funds for Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care

As the Trustee of Shrimad Rajchandra Educational Trust and Coordinator of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care, Dhaval Mehta shaped over 75 high-impact projects which touched over 53.50 lakh lives. Over 17 years, he offered 75,000 hours of selfless service to Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur & Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care. This campaign was a tribute to the memory of Mehta, who passed away in a road accident on December 3rd, 2019 on his way to completing an educational service project. Raising over a staggering INR 2.43 crore, he became the highest individual fundraiser at the Mumbai Marathon since its inception in year 2004.

SADASHIV S. RAO – CHANGE LEGEND 2020

Raised funds for Isha Vidhya

Sadashiv S. Rao is the CEO of NIIF Infrastructure Finance Limited (NIIF IFL), with over 33 years of experience in project finance, investment banking and advisory services. He is associated with Isha Vidhya, the organisation set up by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and has run at the Tata Mumbai Marathon in Isha Vidhya’s support for 11 years. Over the years, he has raised more than ₹ 3.7 crore for the organisation. In addition, he has got a few companies to contribute regularly towards Isha Vidhya through their CSR budget. He has also helped build classrooms in 4 Isha Vidhya schools in Tamil Nadu, in his parents’ name. At TMM 2020, he set an unprecedented record for himself by raising over INR 1.16 crore.

V S PARTHASARATHY – CHANGE LEGEND 2019 AND 2020

Raised funds for for K.C. Mahindra Education Trust – Project Nanhi Kali

V S Parthasarathy’s role as Group CFO & CIO of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited is rife with opportunities for contributing to Mahindra’s aspiration of being amongst the Top 50 most admired brands in the world. He straddles diverse responsibilities, including Directorships of various companies with equal dedication and tirelessly reimagines his leadership roles at the CFO Board, BCCI, FICCI, AFPI, etc. Mr. Parthasarathy has been raising funds for the past 3 years and has raised over 2.23 crore for K.C. Mahindra Education Trust - Project Nanhi Kali. Through his participation and fundraising in the TMM, he aims to provide quality education to underprivileged girls in India. In 2019, he raised close to INR 1.39 crore, shattering all previous records and becoming the highest fundraising individual in the history of the Mumbai Marathon.

K V S MANIAN – CHANGE LEGEND 2019 AND 2020

Raised funds for Cancer Patients Aid Association

K V S Manian has been with the Kotak Mahindra Group for 25 years and has been instrumental in setting up and metamorphosing its many business divisions into success stories. He has been the President, Consumer Banking and is currently President, Corporate, Institutional & Investment Banking. He also oversees the Institutional Equalities business and is part of the Bank’s Executive Board, overseeing the firm’s growth charter. He has been raising funds for the past 6 years and in 2019, he raised INR 1.35 crore, breaking all his previous personal records of fundraising.

SANKARA RAMAN – CHANGE LEGEND 2018 & 2019

Raised funds for Amar Seva Sangam

Sankara Raman is a Chartered Accountant and philanthropist. He has been participating in the Champions with Disability run for the past 13 years and has cumulatively raised over 7.69 crore for Amar Seva Sangam. Affected by Muscular Dystrophy, himself; he aims to make Amar Seva Sangam a forerunner in disability management. He introduced many bold and innovative programmes, benefitting over 16,000 differently abled individuals from over 900 villages in the 3 districts of Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Virudhunagar. In both, 2018 & 2019 he achieved the Change Legend status by raising INR 1.32 & 1.01 crore respectively.

VILLY DOCTOR – CHANGE LEGEND 2019 AND 2020

Raised funds for Light of Life Trust

Villy Doctor is an educationalist and philanthropist, who has dedicated her life for the upliftment of the disadvantaged through the Light of Life Trust (LOLT), of which she is the Founder and Managing Trustee. LOLT was set up with a vision to alleviate poverty by developing rural, underprivileged communities through a holistic approach to education, empowerment and employability. In 2019, Ms. Doctor raised INR 1.22 crore in support of LOLT.

SANJEEV SHAH – CHANGE LEGEND 2019

Raised funds for Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care

Sanjeev Shah handles M&A and Corporate Strategy at the Times of India Group and has spent 10+ years at TOI. Before this he was with the Kotak Mahindra Group for 16 years. As someone who opposes social disparities, Mr. Shah has responded selectively to friendly calls for support. This time, his son, Dhruv inspired him to create permanent change by prioritizing philanthropic initiatives in favour of tribal welfare. He believes that tribal children have simple expectations: a set of books, writing materials and a school to go to. He also feels that animals are neglected in these communities. In 2019, he raised INR 1 crore in support of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care.

ABHAY JASANI – CHANGE LEGEND 2019

Raised funds for Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care

Abhay Jasani, 73, is a graduate from IIT and the Chairman of Jasani Group, one of the leading exporters of diamonds and diamond jewellery. A dynamic personality, yet humble in his demeanour, he is the president of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur. He has been a regular high fundraiser at the Mumbai Marathon, raising over INR 2.6 crore over the last 8 years. In 2019, he raised INR 1 crore in support of Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care

MIHIR DOSHI – CHANGE LEGEND 2017

Raised funds for United Way Mumbai, Jai Vakeel Foundation & Research Centre, Save the Children India

Mihir Doshi has been instrumental in establishing Credit Suisse's India franchise and has been deeply involved in strengthening the overall business profile of the bank in India and in providing its strategic direction. He is also involved in Credit Suisse's human capital and corporate responsibility initiatives and is a member of the Asia Pacific Philanthropy committee. He also serves on the Boards of United Way Mumbai and Teach for India. In addition, he is a Trustee of Save the Children India and a Member on the Janaagraha Governing Board. Mr. Doshi is extremely committed to the cause of child welfare and supports initiatives to ensure that they have the opportunities they need, for a healthy childhood and good education. Between 2008 and 2016, Mr. Doshi raised 1.77 crore for projects impacting children in need. In 2017, he raised a whopping 1.3 crore at the Mumbai Marathon, for 3 NGOs.
